Hey I was wondering how you wired and mounted the two fans on your heatsink. Having a bit of an issue finding guides/videos online. If you can just point me to the right direction that'd be great! I heard you need a 12V charger but how would that work if you have 2 fans on 1 heatsink?

Thanks, I just posted a 1400 mA drive so people know which drive current I want to run it at. The 185H was probably the one I looked at that fit the 4 COBs perfectly, probably just put 240H out of mistake :D

Planned on running 4 COBs @ 700-1050 mA (1050 mA MeanWell HLG-240h-1050b), would 2 140mm fans on a 22" work? Edit: This is for my 2'x2'x4' Veg/Clone tent btw, not my flower tent :D

I'm planning on adding 1 or 2 140 mm Fan to a 5.866" x 22" and was wondering how much more Heat Watt per Square Inch it will dissipate. Thanks the help!

I'm confused, I was made to believe that heatsinkusa.com Heatsinks were passive heatsinks.

If what you say is true I might need to hold off on ordering. I basically have been doing calculations on bggrass' sig (calculator) and for the COB efficiency, nothing seemed to beat CXBs, but then again I only compared them to Citi 1212s, I might need to look into more of them.

I actually havent set up my tent yet, its still sitting in a box :p Need to clean and make a platform for the tent since its a carpeted area. I'll definitely measure it when I set it up.

After doing the math I think I'll go with this setup: HLG 240h-1400b (x3) CXB3590 36v 3500K (x15) HUSA Passive HeatSink (x3) So one Driver will power 5 COBs at 75% which would equal to 1.05mA. Therefore giving me a COB efficiency of 61.5% while generating 567 W of power at the wall...

You're absolutely right, after doing the math the COBs will run @ 34.89 FV, so using Ohm's Law 34.89 x 1.4a = 48.846W per bulb. 48.846W x 4 = 195.384W. Earlier I was basing the FV off 36V, so 36 x 1.4 = 50.4 and 50.4 x 4 = 201.6 W. I thought that since the HLG 185h-1400c only went to...

For just the sake of flowering, which one would you use 3500k or 4000k? I plan on making a seperate Vegetation tent
