Takes awhile for them to get big if you are taking cuttings or pruning to keep them small... but if/when they do get too big if you have a small grow space, just take a cutting from her and replace her with it after it has rooted.

Personally, I don't think I'd mess with them anymore to try and re-cut or remove them from where they are now.... especially if you have some perky ones.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding - were they just cut and left laying around for 6 hours before being dipped and placed in rockwool cubes? That would definitely hurt their chances if so but if some of them are perky, I'd say that's a good sign.

Try a weak mix of hydro nutrients instead of just using plain water. pH can/will be super wacky if there is nothing to buffer it. Your choice of hydro nutrients should be buffered appropriately and your pH adjustments should then be more steady (and require less pH Up/Down). And just to add...
