I get what you're saying but this CMH isn't a normal bulb. It's designed to be run on a high freq ballast, so for this CMH bulb, a high frequency ballast IS the proper ballast. If it doesn't work as good as my HPS, then ill know and can put my mind to rest. Side question, not many cooling...
