Thanks for the tips. Looks like the daytime temp is about 68F. May look into getting an electric heating pad. How bad would it be to veg them under the flowering HPS light?

I've got seedlings that are about 4 inches tall and two weeks old. They're under a 220W 6400K CFL getting 19 hours of day and doing fine but I'm worried about the temperature. The overnight temperature is getting down to about 52F (11C). Which would be a better option: upping it to 24 hours...

"Sure" may be going a bit far but that's pretty doubtful. I'd not given them any nutrients up to the point that the shortest started to exhibit the problem. I'll try moving the light a little up. Here's what it looked like a few weeks ago...

May have answered my own question. Searched and found on another forum that the consensus was 12"-18" because some plants are more/less heat tolerant than others.

I'm having a similar issue to OP, the tops of the colas are looking a bit yellowish and unhealthy. The weird thing is that it started with the shortest plant first and has finally progressed to the tallest (about 5" difference). It's a 400W HPS lamp and it's about a a foot away from the top of...

I understand not wanting to answer the same basic questions over and over again but if that is the case then he could always stop responding. I'm not saying that his contributions to the forum are unhelpful but perhaps the time of this being a sticky is over.

I posted this already as a comment on another thread but found that lacking in helpful replies. I think I've been over-watering these ladies. These photos are about 2-3 days old now and the yellowing has slowly spread upwards. Also the burnt looking top in the bottom image still doesn't look...

These are three auto-flowering Snowryder that are about a month old. They're in soil. Nothing special, John Innes #2 from B&Q. Lighting is a 400w HPS and a few CFLs that I have (200w 6000K, 120w 2700K) that I'm using for side lighting and figured couldn't hurt. They're on a 19/5 light...

This is closer to what I was originally asking. I was curious of the difference between auto-flowering feminized seeds, and using feminized seeds but keeping them on a light cycle so that they flower as soon as. What do you mean by photo's when you say, "go 12/12 from seed with photo's".

Thanks for the feedback guys. I totally missed the light cycle being wrong. *facepalm* Actually, do auto-flowering strains do better under a 12/12 than a something like a 20/4?
