Pics are below, 10 days into flowering, all are female. This is my 2nd grow. The first grow I only used an 18" 15 watt tube flouro over 2 plants until they were about 3 weeks into flowering. Then I ditched the tube and got 8 23 watt cfl's. Those 2 crappy little plants still ended up yielding...

So what kind of female/male ratio did any of you guys come up with after using the banana method?

At least you know what the cause was. I'll bet knowing what you did wrong and learning from your mistakes is probably one of the most important factors in becoming an outstanding grower. Sounds like you're still gonna get a decent yield from "old #7", so that's cool. :peace:

Hey Shonuff, About those reflectors you made: I just saw this video on youtube, and the guy made very similar ones. The only difference seems to be he "roughed up" the surface of the can and made a "V" shape down the middle. The video says this increases reflectivity. Any thoughts on this?

Leave it in the container, unless you want that ice to melt all over the place. :peace:

How old does a plant have to be before you can change to a 12/12 photoperiod to determine the sex? I only have room for 2 plants in my growing area. I'd like to find out if at least one of these is a female, take a couple of clones from it, and then devote the space I have to growing these 2...
