I would get a small, cheap (like $6) fan from wally world and put it inside to blow air across your plant/lights. If that doesn't work, you're gonna have to increase your exhaust. What's the size of your intake and exhaust holes?

This is prime time for you to spread the light. Surround the plant, not just the cola.

4 x 26w will output 1600-1700 lumens/bulb. 4 x 42w gives you about 2700/bulb. More lumens = more stuff . . . :peace: I've never used 6500k for flowering, but 2700k works for both.

So you're running 4 bulbs overhead, and 1 (with reflector) on the side of the plant?

Seems hotter than it should be with 4 26w and a 15w tube . . . what's your room temperature? I have 6 42w and 8 23w in a pretty small space. One microwave fan sucking out a 6" diameter hole, a passive intake the same size, and a 8" personal fan inside the cab blowing on the plants. Keeps temps...

Agreed. I ran across a site the other day that lists the light color rating (K) of most bulbs available. If I happen upon it again I'll let you know. Note: with cfls, it's almost impossible to have "too much light". Always go with more, not less. :peace:

I've never used a MH light (strictly cfls to date), so take this with a grain of salt . . . My grow cab is 22" deep x 30" wide x 48" high. I vegged for 2 weeks and then went to 12/12. I originally had 4 plants going, but had to move one out due to space limitations. It's currently day 34 of...

I would just get all 42w soft whites. For a cfl grow, the soft whites will veg as much as you need, and they're what you want for flowering anyway. I'd suggest at least 4 lights per plant. But remember, if you're growing multiple plants, you can position one light to "enlighten" more than one...

Indoor grow, right? 60 days of veg is gonna give you a pretty big plant. If you have the space and good quality lighting, then no problem. If you're growing with cfl's, you'll probably want to veg them for a lot less than 60 days. :peace:

We have a couple Walmarts in town and they only have the 42w bulbs in stock about half the time. The cheapest I've found them is Target, $7.50. If I were you, I'd call and find out what they have first. :peace:
