Thanks for the response. I have gotten better at watering now. At this point, they are only being watered/fed once a week. They seem to be getting a bit drier each time, so it may get stepped up at some point soon.

Correct, they are just open air in a room. No box yet. Saving up for it. Got to find the right cabinet and then design from there. Why HPS over MH? I am planning on a perpetual eventually, and it might be with the box I get now. Just have to see how big it is.

Sounds good. I have noticed the major growth after a week of 12/12. I think when I build my cabinet I am just going to go with a HPS or MH 400w setup or so. Just better and to build a CFL one it will cost almost as much in just 26w bulbs.

Anyone know why 250w systems seem to cost the same or very close to 400w systems? I assume it's just because the parts can't be lowered anymore in price. Guess I will just go ahead and get a 400 and hope I don't overheat my cabinet.

So doing a standard CFL grow, it would be really hard to get clones from, eh? Since you switch to flowering after only a few weeks? Or could you take a clone at 2 months even during flowering? I'm sure this has been addressed before, just don't remember.
