good. those dual spec cfls are excellent and don't seem to take any extra grow time compared to hps. yields are a little lower but nice quality. i haven't tried led yet, out of my price range. i use small pots so they stay about 2 ft tall. some autos in large pots get way out of control!

that looks ok. i hate it when they get really leafy. auto big bang is a nightmare to trim.

i've done easy bud, royal dwarf, fast bud,roadrunner and auto lemon skunk. als was tiny.

what autos do you do??

that is a little bit stronger than the afghan kush ryder, a bit strong for me to be honest. 8-15% thc is more than enough for me.

apparently up to 10 oz a plant under perfect conditions is what i've read.

hps all the way for me. occasionally cfl then hps.

autos used to be crap 4-5 years ago but they're good now. the auto big bang i just finished ate up the nutes like there was no tomorrow!

cfls are pretty good, especially the 300w dual spec ones. but the light fades fast so grow short plants and keep the bulbs close. you'll do ok with big cfls.

i topped my 2 about 3 weeks back and i have very nice collection of buds growing now. topping is always an interesting thing to do and see how it develops, i only tend to do it because of overstretch.

fairly small square pots, about 2 litres i think. i get them for free, there's no measurement on them. i like about 1 and a half to 2 oz per plant, that more than does me. 5 litre pots would be more than adequate i would think. that's the biggest pots i've used.

i did 5 when it first came out, about 3 years ago i think. they took about 8 weeks, after 6 six weeks they looked quite shit, but they ended up about 2 oz each after a real growth spurt the last 2 weeks. i remember they ate loads of feed too.

i haven't tried il diavolo yet but i will soon. it takes about 7-8 weeks and is apparently resistant to mould. you could try royal dwarf, i mostly do that and it is quick but a bit smelly.

i did some nice auto big bang, one was about 2 ft tall and i got 4 and a half oz off that one. it took longer than the stated time though, they were slow. 10 oz off 4 plants, i was happy with that.

i haven't, but i would certainly give it a go. sweet seeds are good, i have done their fast bud and it was quick and easy.

how long did it take from seed under the red light? was it a good smoke? i tried a lowryder once under the red light and it was terrible. just kept stretching and stretching, eventually i threw it away.
