    is your plan to use the same fan for the cool tube and room together? if you have the money why not get a separate fan for the cooltube and a fan controller with thermostat to help control the temps... this is the route I will be taking as and when I can afford it

    I've taped up some of my grow cabinet and the tape just goes loose when it heats up. The glue never sets properly so any heat and it comes loose. maybe silicone? or as the guy above suggested, screws!

    I think the more important point to make is that HID bulbs are more efficient than CFL's/T5's, so although you will save money you'll ultimately be spending more per lumen. If you leave the MH on constantly you will either finish vegging sooner or finish vegging with bigger plants

    if you've got the money invest in two air cooled hoods, a separate exhaust fan for it and another 600w light. 600watt bulbs put out about 90,000 lumens, some claim almost 100,000. 2 400watt bulbs are around 100,000... it's a waste of money in my opinion. Wait untill you can afford to do it...

    you'd need 144 of those pipes to be the same as a 6inch one or 64 to be equal to a 4 inch pipe. Also you want smooth pipes. You get added resistance from any other piping, especially the flexible stuff

    good point regarding the scrog. The reflector and bulbs turned up today so the little fuckers are now under 600watts... except an oscillating fan and potching with the access panels it's pretty much done. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

    These are my 8 white widows. They've been under T5's for about 10-15 days. As soon as my reflector and bulbs come they will be getting put into bigger pots and put under the 600w MH. Any comments/ criticism/ advice is more than welcome
