i would imagine that a plant 5 weeks old would have allready pre-flowered so id say you will see "true budding" start in a week or so.

sorry for the second post but i thought id add something useful. most auto plants finish out fairly short, most ive seen stay around 12" you could also lollipop the plant to make it skinny with only the main cola. as far as strain you said it, you want an auto any true auto flowering plant...

they all "eat" alot of light

after you "weed" out the males then you want to select the plant with the best characteristics (node spacing, growth rate, ect.)

you would get seeds. you may have some seeds mixed with one male strain and others mixed with the others but you will end up with seeds just the same.

i know everyone has their own method to germ seeds. i just stick my seeds in jiffy plugs and let them grow till they have their first set of 3 fingered leaved then i transplant into my 6" pot for my SOG

sounds like your fan and filter should be able to handle the smell. how old is the carbon? do you have alot of bends in your ducting reducing airflow?(duct should be kept as straight as possible as to not reduce air flow.) excessive humidity can deactivate your carbon as well.. carbon can...
