the way that those tops have folded over like that and looking limp and dead could be due to a strong dose of h202 and they should recover in a couple of days. that happened to me in nft when i added some h202 at the recommended dose on the instructions, i would use half strength or slightly less.

the roots look brown on this plant from the net pot and halfway down until there is new root growth that is white, are you using a nutrient that is dying the roots or is this the start a root disease? maybe just a shadow.

i would like to link up 4x 600 watt lights in air cooled shades and use an extractor fan to push the air through but have no idea what size extractor would do the job. i have a 6" inline that can move 400cfm and i have a 10" acoustic that can move 800cfm if that helps.

thanks crazeehaze, took me a while to convert the m3 per hour to cfm and i have an 812cfm and a spare 6" extractor at about 250-300cfm just incase.

i would like to put 4x 600 watt lights in a 2x2x2 metre tent that will not have air cooled shades and need some help with working out how much extraction and intake i will need to keep temps at around 26c-27c. any idea anyone?

i like the idea of using two C shaped sections, with 2 pumps and 2 res, one for each side. it would be kind of like the coliseum. would make things easier for pruning. i may dig out me old system for another try at it afterall. i think heath is prety cool about other people bouncing ideas around...

i once used a lightrail with a 600 watt light and had smaller buds than usual as i was moving the light over a 2 meter square area to cover 24 plants in 4 gallon pots. because i was moving the light over such a large distance it effected the size of the buds as they did not have the prolonged...

I have read that they are not needed if you run co2 at 1500ppm and then turn the co2 off on lights out, the plants are supposed to be able to make enough oxygen for the dark period to keep...

i have been asking elsewhere about building a sealed room with co2 and i thought that i would need an intake but was told by an old hand at sealed rooms that a sealed room with co2 should not need any air from an external source as the plants use co2 to produce oxygen as a by product of...

how do you seal the doorway to a sealed grow room to make it airtight?:wall:

i have 20 flowering here in 3 litre pots and 10 in the nft. i could get 40 pots under the one light but i know that i wont get anywhere near 2lbs from doing that.

do you have a "how to" guide on that 2lbs for one 600watt? ;-)

i was wanting to use one of these water pumps to water vertical rockwool slabs 4 times a day for 10 to 15 mins at a time. i wondered if they would be very noisy as i do not want to allert the neighbors with loud buzzing vibrations.
