Hmm..what strain is it? Some strains finish sooner than most but I can tell you that most plants avg 60-70 days..other than that I guess looking at the trichomes would give you a fool proof answer.

It really wouldn't make any sense to give them any less or any more than 12/12 unless they perform better..otherwise 12/12 is ideal. I've been told by some people that they flower their plants under 10/14 because they flower better..mostly Sativa dom. genetics though. Like SSH or something.
