    The smell of a skunk?

Hi! I've been growing for a few years now and I'm starting to produce some nice bud. Usually way more smelly than what my friend buy on the streets with nice deep pine, earthy and sickly sweet smells. But! I recently visited those friends, who just happened to change weedguy in the...

Does "pushing" your plants gives any real advantage?

@Dr. Who Very nice take! potting up in hotter and hotter soil seems like a great Idea! Usually, I don't have much issues to use the soil more than a month before adding it in, I try to keep it living Depending on strain or phenotype I might have some problems with the strenght but never much...

Does "pushing" your plants gives any real advantage?

Thanks that's exactly what I needed to know! I intended to start upping the feed very slowly, but as my plants seem to be doing perfect ,more food will probably be no good. Even if I go slow. It's just weird to tell myself I haven't fed a single time in the entire life cycle.

Does "pushing" your plants gives any real advantage?

Hi! I'm currently growing in soil and all I ever do is water with ph corrected water. They are 8weeks old and I never ever gave them nutrients in the water. My plants seem to be doing excellent and are growing fast, but I've been hearing people talk about pushing their plants, especially in...

Veg longer to get taller colas? Flipping timing

@Grow So High Don't be sorry! I'm doing just the same haha Based on what you say, if stretchy sativas typically look spindly in veg, then I'm pretty much covered! I'm growing an 80% sativa strain, but the structure is indeed very indica like! My second pheno, in the right of the box, has some...

Veg longer to get taller colas? Flipping timing

So the stretch is less of a big deal than what I thought It's stressing me out because it's the first time I grow a photoperiod Sativa and I don't want 'em to punch a hole in my roof haha 2x should be very manageable but I heard about strains that triple and I can't find this kind of info on...

Veg longer to get taller colas? Flipping timing

Hi! During my last grow, I've been trying my hand at scrogging for the first time but even though the results were amazing, I still know I could do better. I had plenty of dense, frosty and potent tops, but they only poked out a bit and only developed "from the waist up" as you can probably...

deficiency showing up in between watering (during dry cycle)

That's definetly what I'm noticing more and more as I gain experience in this hobby. I'll try taking care of those little microbes to the best of my ability They are filled out, the roots even managed to poke through my smartpot's bottom a few days ago. but If I pour enough to get runoff it...

deficiency showing up in between watering (during dry cycle)

also, I used to put like 4liters in to get the 20% runoff and it took 4 to 5 days to dry out so today I only used 2liters (wasn't enough to get any runoff) to aim at a 2 to 3 days dry. But now, I'm kinda paranoid that not getting any runoff won't help the burn and possibly even make it worse by...

deficiency showing up in between watering (during dry cycle)

I'm so sorry for my lack of precision! I'm still pretty much a newbie and I don't have a grip on everything yet. For the soil, I'm using something you'd be hard pressed to find because of where I live. but I can say it's a light mix with perlite buffered to a ph of around 6.8 also it says it...

deficiency showing up in between watering (during dry cycle)

I've been feeding a really small amount. here's the last things that happened prior to this: I hadn't fed anything but ph corrected water fort the last 2 to 3 weeks and even if no deficiency showed, I decided to add a bit of bloom and calmag fert to the watering. nothing too extreme. but one of...

deficiency showing up in between watering (during dry cycle)

update on the situation: can anyone help me out with this? l would say ph fluctuations if the color of the spot was ligher but it's very rusty brown, even red purplish in some places. I'm at loss

deficiency showing up in between watering (during dry cycle)

Hi! I have a question: right now, my soil is still very damp. ideally I sould still wait more than 2 days if I want it to properly dry out but here's the problem, I've been noticing some purple-ish spots between the leaf veins today. I'm still on the fence between if those are natural purpling...

    windburn without wind?

that would make sense, it already got much better after flushing but it seems like I didn't flush EVERYTHING out at least it does seem to get better with time and the leaves are flattening themselves out it just looks sooo much like wind burn I googled Anthracnose and my plants definetly don't...

    windburn without wind?

hi all! I've been a bad boy again and didn't put a fan on my plants... ...yet they show sign of windburn (looks a lot like it at least) it's like a few leaves are cupping down. Especially on the thicker leading stems it's quite surprising because not all leaves show this symptom, and even if...
