Yep. Spent $375 bringing in all new dirt. Figured it was a definite upgrade from the old compact shit that's been in there over the years. Everything on the website seemed great, no bad reviews and all that. Now there's issues and not sure what to do. They're still putting out tomatoes, but...

So my tomatoes have started to have a very tight, curly leaf problem on all the newest growth. Kinda clustering all the new flowers up. This has caused concern for my cannabis. They have 11 gallons of Ocean Forest around the main root ball but the roots are heading out to new soil rapidly. I...

    Herbicide or nitrogen problem?

I haven't come across any unwanted bugs in the garden yet. I'd be happy if aphids were the problem, to be honest.

    Herbicide or nitrogen problem?

Nothing. I'm completely against it. I don't believe the neighbors have sprayed anything either.

    Herbicide or nitrogen problem?

there's plenty of space here for the roots. Depth isn't an issue, nor has the heat been. Heat stress would affect the whole plant, not just the newest growth. The only heat would be from the possibility of something burning the roots, like an excess of nitrogen, or an herbicide. Those are the 2...

    Herbicide or nitrogen problem?

It hasn't been hot here at all lately, and watering hasn't been an issue. They aren't droopy and lifeless, they're firm and curled tightly. I've dealt with heat issues when they're in pots. Temps have been 75 or below for the past week at least.

    Herbicide or nitrogen problem?

I've noticed over the past couple weeks that the top growth on just about all of my tomato plants are very tight, curly structure, almost like a fist. The plants have been growing very rapidly, and look completely healthy other than the top growth. My jalapenos, and anaheim's seem to have some...

I top mine repeatedly until I've achieved my desired look and structure. Just let them recover before you start topping again.

Soil choice is incredibly important. It's best not to be cheap, although good soil isn't expensive. I pay $9.00 a bag for Fox Farms ocean forest. It's always worked for me, and I never have issues. Pick up your standard trifecta of nutrients and you'll be good for the season. I've used...

    Solis Maximus Rapidly Approaching

15:41 of daylight here in the northwest. I believe 15:43 is the max. Loving all the sun we're having out this way.

Thanks. I've enjoyed the process of putting it all together. I wish I would've found this hobby earlier in life. Took until the mid 30s to latch on to a truly rewarding part of my life.

well it's been about a month since I've put the 2 clones in the pots. They've filled out enough that I'm ready to drop them in the ground. I put five yards of new soil I picked up from a local place. It's called white lightning and it's done a great job with the tomatoes and other stuff in the...

    cuttings/clones straight into ground outside???

Every year I take a trimming off each plant I grow outdoors and plunk them straight in a 2 gallon smart pot. Not once has any one strain failed on me. I just get a smaller version of each plant that I can usually push further than the mother. I don't use rooting formula, just a 45° cut and right...

I'm back to growing again this year. I skipped last year for a few reasons but mainly I had plenty from the previous season left over. I'm only running 2 plants this year. Trimming lbs isn't fun to me, and the stress isn't worth it. 2 will do just fine for me. The choices are Sundae driver, and...

    Cat Poop in the Planter

I know when I find poo, I automatically wish for that animals death. I really hope you're kidding. Im guessing this was the first cat you've ever seen. Unlike dogs, cats are usually pretty good at jumping over objects to get into areas they might find fun. These cats are called outdoor cats...

He left out a y and a few commas. Seemed pretty easy to me. I think you just took offense to his statement, as if he was calling your bluff on your statement. Which is way the hair trigger on grammar.

    Well done.

What week are these flowers in?

I'd say no further than week 3. Can't see much of any trichomes forming. Kinda blurry though.
