Hey man.. I'm along for the ride.. I did DWC and made all kinds of mistakes.. as you said you need to attend to the plants, which I didn't do either.. For myself I found that organic soil works really well.. dry amendments and I just water and forget about it.. I do enjoy the "fun" of DWC...

I'm doing a 400 w grow in a smaller sized tent as well.. you have low ceiling also? Just asking because of the 5 foot height... I'm along for the ride.. What are you using for soil? you won't be adding any nutrients?
