hey i have just planted a white widow seed and am researching some things online. i have 2 23 watt 6500k cfl on it right now. some people say it needs to be dark to sprout others say its good to put lights on for 24/7 until it sprouts which is the better way??

hey i have a question i have 4 6500k cfl for my white widow grow. i am wondering if i need a 2700k for veg or not. i have a 4100k on hand but i heard its a useless light range for the plant. also what size pot should i use? i know to start in a small pot or cup than transplant into a bigger pot...

o by the way i know my strain i have been waiting for my White Widow seeds to come in. everything else is waiting.

Thank highlife i have a question though. is 6500k not optimal for the vegatative growth as 2700k is optimal for flowering. i heard you could mix the spectrum but with a 2-1 ratio for the stage. for example vegatative 2 6500k 1 2700k

what K are you using ? and adding the other cfl would be a great idea :D
