    Nongreenthumb and seedlessone or both right. Plants reflect green light, hence the color of the plant:blsmoke: . Im also a firm believer in just leaving your plants be when the lights are off but if you MUST go in there, use a green light and not a red light.

    Little help please =D

    There on 18/6 right now for light period. I have a dehumidifer cuz my plants are in my basement and im trying to prevent mold from growing. Im still not sure why my soil is turning green but i will try turning my Dehumidifier off.

    i have a little fan blowing on the light to keep the heat dispersed and there is plenty of air that gets in. The plants are in my basement and i have a dehumidifier to regulate the humidity.
