Great thing about Afghani is that it's a landrace strain, so there isn't much pheno variation I would imagine. So the hardest part is finding a different strain with the characteristics you want to cross with it. That's the only downside to hybrids created from other hybrids, unless the breeder...

Yay for feminized seeds! I totally hear you on the need for containment, whenever I get a girl in the flower room that hermies, I try my best to sanitize the room, or at least do anything I can to reduce the viability of any remaining pollen.

If it was showing female preflowers before the stress occurred, and is still around it may be worth harvesting the pollen. Sounds like you've got a pretty good plan there though. :)

Finally went and picked up a couple of clones one OG and one GG #4. I'm more than likely going to toss one, if not both of the big diesel clones unless one shows some new growth within the two weeks. My colloidal silver came yesterday and I'm thinking of flipping the GG to harvest pollen. So...

Journal update: Day 48 of veg. The boys outside are doing well. And I've cut clones of the girl inside. I'll be ordering some colloidal silver soon as I plan to try my hand at making some feminized seeds with the two clones.

Being that I'd like to keep my harvest schedule, instead of cutting clones, I'm thinking I'm just going to throw the three males outside and find me a couple rtf clones.

Journal update: Day 33 of veg I'm convinced at this point that three of the four plants are male. :( So, I'll be taking clones from each tonight and then throwing them into flower to be sure.

Resilient for sure! I usually top/fim when I go the scrog route, but have never just lopped off all growth but one node before.

Three days later, the new growth is starting to pick back up. :)

This has probably been the most scary thing I've ever done to my plants! Manifold here we come!
