Already learned that much of what is sold to noobs in hydro stores as budget, is actually using the word 'budget' in the sense of 'disposable crap you will need to replace within weeks.'

And this is my fear, ending up with a really well lit closet and a carbon filtered air filtration system I use to keep down cooking smells, having given up indoor growing in favour of a secluded corner of an unused field.

I thought I could use old jam (jelly) jars...guess that was another over optimistic hope. As for gloves I actually have some already...but trimmers. Of course I need trimmers. Bloody trimmers. (mumble)

My first grow better go perfectly or the added cost of failure will leave me with a rather costly, well lit closet full of junk.

Just a small confession come warning about budgeting and kits. As a new grower this list is the stuff I hadn't budgeted for when I bought what I thought was everything I needed to setup my grow space. My original budget was for grow tent, light and ballast, basic nutes and cal/mag, coir...
