Can anyone tell me a rough estimate of how long I should leave the plants in the veg stage. The plants are Top 44 and have grown to approx 4" in 2 weeks under 400w grolux HPS light at 18/6. When should I be thinking of swapping to 12/12.

I've got 4 top 44 plants under a 400 watt grolux lamp. They are a fornight old now and about 4 inches high. I have the light on 18/6 at the moment. When do I switch to 12/12?
