I was curious, will those ballasts be okay in such a tight space with the amount of heat they generate? I know mine gets really hot and I have it in an area where there is open ventilation... unless you have fans blowing from one side through the other and I just completely missed that reading...

Maybe I should try that... I've noticed my plants are starting to get bushier and bushier and haven't really started to grow vertically too much (with the exception of one of them)... 2 of my plants have leaves that are pushing up against the insides of their pots already.

Will do. I've been setting the PH for the nutrients to 6.0 before feeding them to the plants so far.

I don't know if it works as well with cats but one method that has always worked well against dogs is sprinkling Tabasco sauce (or spicy sauce equivalent) around the perimeter of the garden. The dogs stay far away after that!

What temps are you staying around? I don't know what region of TX you live in but it's hot at hell around here and really fun to try to keep below 85 degrees. Plants look nice though!

Thanks! I transplanted them from Miracle Grow Organic soil to Fox Farm Ocean Forest on day 9 and they have really taken off since then. I've also been feeding them a smaller dose of Fox Farm Grow Big every 3rd watering (set the PH on the nutrient water to 6.0).
