IMO, if I were you I would at a have a 60 gal pump or a combo of 20 gal pumps equaling ~60 gal. Many pumps can be advantageous (IMO) because if one fails only one or two plants are in danger versus the whle grow being at stake... Not to mention less stress on the air pump = less heat the air...

I wouldn't do more than two five gallon buckets with a 20gal pump... I have a 40 gal pump per 12.5 gal on solution in a 20gal res plus I split an industrial inline 35w pump into two one foot air stones then in one of my res' I have a water agitator... I still wish I had more air... Ive read...

Awesome, then for sure the next two things on the to do list are make a carbon filter and scrog these ladies... I was taking leaves off and trimming in my noob attempt to get the 'bud sites' (maybe I'm calling it by the wrong name) to stretch towards the light... I will for sure not trim any...
