I don't think you have anything to worry about. Your growing with CFLs. Not like you have 10k in HID's. I thought they needed a warrent to look into your house with any type of FLIR to see if your growing.

Yes thats a bit of light leaking out. No big deal. The cabnet is actually in my work shop which is walled in, in my basment. No one goes in there or no lights on in there till I go in there to check on things. Which isn't till about 10am or latter in the morning. Which is why I chose that time...

The box itself is 30" wide x 30" long x 48" tall. The exhaust fan is just a bathroom exhaust fan. It 's something like 7"x7". I cut a hole in the top for that. Then the encloseure for the fan is 10"x10"x5". The round pipe coming off the back of the fan goes through the box right into the home...

BTW thanks to everyone who has gave any type of advice. I appriciate. While I was building this cabnet I never expected this problem. I'll check back tomarrow with an update. Lets hope it works.

Ok so for tonight I will leave the exhaust fan running all night and see what happens. I just looked again and humidity inside the box has dropped down to 40% from 44%. So it seems to alot less them whats out side the cabnet. I'm gonna let that fan run all night. I am going to put a fan inside...

Hey I am open to anything I will try adding a fan. I actually have some here right now I could put in there. I hate to put all this time and money to have it go bad on me this late in the game. sirbudmaster just looked and the dew point here is 60 °F.

I just looked(temperture gage stores lowest and highest temp and I reset these everyday so that was last nigths temp) and my night time temp dropped down to 68.5.

Yeah i am thinking now this was my mistake. just didn't think about it. I figured sence the lights were off it would be fine to have it off.

I just looked and all is dry now from what I can see. Lights came on at 10am. I also put a temperture/humidity gage inside the cabnet and the humidity is down at 44% inside the cabnet with the fan running. I wonder if I should have left the fan running all night. i left it off thinking it was ok.

Yes I did. The day before putting them in there. If it was from watering this is gonna happen everytime I water then. I'm just wondering if I should pipe in fresh air from outside and pipe out the exhaust air. That way it's not sucking in the high humidity air from the basment.

Just think I took that picture 20 minutes after the lightes where on too. So most dried up. That was just one of the many spots I seen with water still there so I snapped a picture. It was bad.

Huh what??? I have a carbon filter. Smell is not the problem here. The problem is I have water in the grow box from sitting during the dark period. It looks like it rained in ther box from sitting all night. Smell and heat are not a problem. I think we are getting way off track here.

Through the filter into the basment. There's no smell now cause of the filter. Is this a problem? I can easily vent out of the house. I just figured it would be fine to just vent into the basment through the filter as long as the smell was taken care of which it is.

Yes l;ook at the pictures you can see a box on the top of the cabnet with a filter on the back of it. Thats the fan enclosed to keep the sound down.
