i just looked at ur setup and im very jealous. i thought u might want to know that i have to keep my case in a cabinet that has poor ventilation and that is why my temp is so high but idk what to do to fix it because i cant open it up anymore that what it is and i cant let light shine through

the front i can i can open and close just to look inside the box, that part lets a little air in but not much and the went on the side i opened up so air could get out to try and bring the temp down. thats were im confused, should i seal off all the holes and the side vent?

can i use high pressure sodium bulbs for veg lighting and if so how many watts would i need for my pc box?

i was wondering what i should use for veg lighting that will not produce as much heat? i made a cool tube like u suggested but my box is still around 85 degrees

no, it didnt melt. its about an 1/8 of an inch thick. it seems to be doing the job but my temp is still reading kinda high

yeah i rigged up a cool tube with a piece of clear plastic and i wired the fans to an outlet. the intake fan has 12 volts running to it and the exhaust fan has 5 volts running to it, i was thinking about switching them and making the exhaust fan stronger

oh yeah and im using 2 26 watt and 1 15 watt cfl for lighting right now.... forgot to mention that earlier

im currently using two 26 watt and one 15 watt cfl for one sprout. what do u suggest i use for a root booster? something i can get at home depot or a garden center

see thats were i run into my problem. if i put too many bulbs in my pc box the temp gets up there a little high, theres good ventialtion in my box but i have to keep my box locked up in a cabinet thats made to hold a computer tower and i cant have any light shining through to give my grow away...

yeah i see what u mean, i was gonna say....i only have three bulbs but two of them i can move around wherever and mount them wherever i need to. what if i move the bulbs around to the sides when the plants start to get bigger. will that help?

lol it doesnt look like there is one there but its just hard to see, its about a half inch tall and only 4 days old. im posting a new picture to show additional lighting i added. cant i just up the wattage on the bulbs instead of having to install more?

i germinated two seeds to start out with in my pc grow box, just wanted to know if three 26 watt CFL bulbs is enough light for my box? anyone??? oh yeah and i know theres only 2 bulbs in my pictures but i added a third just today
