Not so sure about water stress. Im not 100% here so dont kill me if Im wrong, but I dont think that would cause yellowing. Instead the leaves would be severely drooping. Im going with nute burn. Need some pics.

If your concerned about wind and your plants falling over, you could tie them up with some dow rods. Shave the end of the dow rod with a razor blade to make it like a spear. That way it will be easier to stick in the ground. Then tie them with like a shoe lace or some rope. Just dont use sting...

The plant cannot support itself so... I put straws on them as mentioned above. Also added a fan blowing directly on them. These pics were taken with my blackberry. Of course the dig camera dies when I need it most. I'll get some better quality pics when it charges up probably not till morning.
