Based upon that query, I am going to ask this... Is an 8 inch pot sufficient as a final growing vessel. Or will the size of the vessel effect the final size of the plant?

Im'm sorry but even though I am not very experienced, I do currently have a plant pic in the gallery and the lights are at least 4 inches and as you can see it is FAR from streching

I too am using the MG Potting mix (not the moisture control but on hind site i would) and the nutes in it are quite a low dose and are not too water soluable so they time release flushing does nothing. But since there is so little a new sprout might object for a little bit of time but not much.

Plain, No Nutrients (if possible) in it, always add perlite for drainage even if it says there is some in it.

So I think that with this and the oher soil she is doing just fine
