If your temps inside the bucket is 86 your headed for problems. Nute temps should be around 70. High temps will definitely slow growth,among other problems.

In most cases topping yields more, but I've had some that didn't respond well to topping. Light stress training never let's ya down, topped or not.

Purple Ark update, both finished around day 50. Pheno 1 was frostier, slightly shorter than #2, and yielded a lil over an oz per plant. Pheno 2 about a foot taller, and yielded close to 4 oz's per plant. Both showed slight hermi issues. But oddly I am not finding any seeds. Both are super dense...

I been smoking around my plants for 15 years, and during the night cycle to boot. The only ill effect I've noticed is cigarette smoke will shorten your carbon filters life, as well as your own.

Looks ok to me. 23 days is a long time between Nute changes. I use a 40 gal Rez and change out my nutes every 7 days.

I don't hear any ticking, only a click when it hits flood, then another when it drains. I have a hydro farm controller. Also have 1 bucket that leaks no matter what. I just took it out of rotation. Also newspaper or a paper towel under each bucket helps with early leak detection. I had mine...

I veg 6 to 10 plants under 500w of t5's with no trouble. How many you trying to grow? No sense wasting electricity.

I only use clones in the ebb & flow, seedlings go in DWC buckets or dirt until sex is determined.

I soak mine in hot water and florakleen, after I dry em and remove all the roots first. It would break me to buy five 36l bags every grow. I've baked them in the past, but not every time.

I run GH flora series, with their silica and calmag,along with Floralicious plus, hydro guard,liquid Koolbloom and dry KB the last 2 or 3 weeks. I only use the grow during veg. The Floralicious is the only thing that mucks up my pump filter bags. But well worth the mess IMO.

For a 10% handling fee I'll hold it! LOL on a side note I'd vote for Hillary if she shot 2 people in time square! BOO Trump!

I see quite a few people using that system with good results! I use a ebb flow bucket system, and it was the best move I made in 15+ years of growing. I started in dirt, moved onto DWC, and went to ebb + flow. I think it's the easiest method so far, for me anyway. Takes all the work and hassle...

Purple paralysis from cream of the crop has a real nice grape taste. Not so much in the color department tho. Atleast not the ones I grew. Taste wise tho a real keeper.

I run my nutes at 5 micro/10 bloom, then with silica,cal mag,liquid Koolbloom,Floralicious plus,and hydro guard. Everything total comes out to 950 ppm or 1.9 EC. They rarely drop below 800 ppm in a week. Lucas formula seems to work better in DWC than in ebb flows. IMO anyway.
