Anyone Truly Love Working with Plants [not mj]

My son and I just planted/seeded 25 plants that we've never grown before (well, except for the Sweet and Genovese Basils). He's only 9 and he is learning the magic of life. We both are very excited about the grow. He's started a grow journal to count the number of germinations each day.

I think i may be a Bad Person

Way back when, I followed the Carlos Castenada series of books which detailed a shaman of the Hopi tribe. One of the lessons he taught was that he knew he was a bad person at an early age. But because he knew he was bad, he pretended to be good so that he could fool all the people around him...

I think i may be a Bad Person

Ah, that's the rub Urca. You judge others harshly because you judge yourself harshly. It follows hand in hand. Everyone has flaws. You have to accept your flaws so that you can accept flaws in others. Then you can decide, with an open mind, which flaws you are willing to accept in your...

    Alcohol and Dreams

I drink everyday--not a lot--but enough to get me to sleep early. I almost always wake up in the middle of the night, watch an hour or two of TV and then fall asleep. I always have the most vivid and kickass dreams between 5 and 6 in the morning.

The Entire Earth Covered in Cities?

That is a depressing thought, that we as a species could be that stupid. Aldous Huxley theorized that humanity's numbers would always grow until they outstripped the ability to feed the populations. We are sort of like rats and cockroaches in that sense.

    Christianity just a cock-n-bull story

And as for the bible, it is a compilation of stories and view points chosen in the mid ages. And most of the stories were written by the same mid east crazies that are wanting to rule or blow up the world right now. The bible is an interesting read, from start to finish. But nothing more or...

Am I the only one who does not want it Legalized?

Well, because it is legal, you could expand your business until you become the Kraft of our plant business. You would make your product so cheap that the average person couldn't grow the product for the price you sell it at. You would make your profit on volume and you would have a head start...

    Ethical Dilemma

I think that if any other species was doing to the planet what we (as humans) are doing, we would be hunting it down and eradicating it. So, I think we (as humans) are not doing right by our planet.

Roots Wont Survive out of the NetPot

I've tried to grow mini bells in a DWC and had all of them die because they do not put down roots and follow the water. I've gone back to soil because it looks like their root system is very shallow.
