I am in the process of building a much better lighting system. Right now I have monster CFLs in there but they are 6500k from my veg period. I am wiring up a fixture now with 6 bulbs instead of 2 and the bulbs are 2700k. When I switch to this lighting will flowering speed up or stay the same...

I had the same issue and it was before I found out about all these great dudes here to help! I did exactly what they said minus repotting. I'm growing hydroponically so I just added hydroton around the stem and stood the babies up. They looked better in a matter of days! Plus the stem I buried...

I built my own cfl light fixture. I got 2 x 3 packs of cfl bulbs on sale for 8 each. I got some lamp sockets for 3 each. 3 of those. Then 3 Y splitters for the sockets to allow 2 bulbs n each socket. Those were 2 each. And one male plug end and wire nuts for 5. 36 bucks so far. I used wire that...

Sometimes instead of warm the color is soft. That's a problem that had me checkng bulbs in the store for like 2 hours. So if u see bulbs labeled soft white they are they 2700 k u need for blooming.
