Thanks man. Never did I stomp on what anyone else was doing. I have happy, healthy, plants in mixes that contain oil-dri. I only stopped by to see if anyone has used it for MJ, as I have only used it for cacti and herbs.

Perlite is a nasty, dusty mess. Vermiculite lacks any structure that would hold up in a soil mix. It's like wet cardboard.

Massah, I appreciate you stopping in to comment, but you're completely wrong. This product is insoluble in water.

It's a natural earth product. Like I said, I don't like perlite. Not necessarily trying to reinvent the wheel.

I just checked the MSDS and it didn't have any info for ph. It is compromised of bentonite clay, which I believe is what kitty litter is made out of. However, oil-dri contains no clumping agents, perfumes, and dyes.
