Please Need Help! 1 Week into Flowering and Plant is Sick!

it's hard to say, cuz it'll all depend on the genetics of the plant and the environment of your room. it could effect the final weight, as an abundance of N will cause more leafy growth, and therefore it could cause less bud growth. this shouldn't be drastic though. the one thing to watch out...

    Yellowing Vegging in Bat Mix

this is simply a matter of opinion. pot plants can survive nearly any ph from 4.0-7.0, but ideally should be between 5.8-6.5, as outside this range you do lose some nutrients.

Please Need Help! 1 Week into Flowering and Plant is Sick!

it looks for sure like an N toxicity. it doesn't look quite bad enough to flush the soil, i'd just stop adding nutrients and water with plain ph balanced tap water till you see some SLIGHT yellowing on the very bottom leaves. if you want to remedy it a little quicker you could flush the soil...

Help! Spider Mites in Final Weeks

it may not work every time but i do agree it's effective... otherwise NASA probably wouldn't use it. i simply think it's a good part of an IPM plan, which is why i use it in my garden.

    Is This Mg Deficiency?

they are probably correct with the mg deficiency. iron would effect new growth not old so i think you'd be correct in supplementing mg. but as max said, 2 weeks before harvest it won't necessarily change anything either

Got in an Accident, Plants Left Alone for 6 Days!

you could bring most of them back but your yield will probably suffer from the stress

    Yellowing Vegging in Bat Mix

i like my runoff around 6.0. if it gets too much higher it starts locking out nutrients. also just because it was manufactured at a ph of 5.8-6.2 doesn't mean it will stay that way. adding nutrients and water to soil will almost indefinitely change its ph, especially in cheaper soil as they tend...

    Bug Help

well since thrips eat roots, how would he know? sure the plant may show signs of stress once the outbreak gets bad, but more than likely he'll be trying to cure a plant disease instead of a bug infestation. the effect of thrips isn't neccessarrily direct, they simply weaken the plant and make it...

Help! Spider Mites in Final Weeks

i usually agree, but i did have a wicked breakout of mites a couple weeks before harvest around a year ago. i used mite-rid and it did an awesome job, and it had no effect on flavor. Mite-Rid is an organic, essential oil mix with capsaicin and azadirachtin in it. it runs about $30 for a bottle...

    Is This Mg Deficiency?

most damaged leaves will not regain color, regardless the reason for the discoloration. basically when the plant isn't getting what it needs from the soil, it will take it from old growth in order to keep growing. the browning dying leaves are the ones the plant decided were the least useful...

Sick Baby. Need Your Help Please

again, WHY SPEND 2 WEEKS NURSING A SICK PLANT WHEN YOU COULD HAVE A HEALTHY PLANT IN HALF THE TIME THAT'S THE SAME SIZE? i'm not saying it can't be fixed, and if the plant were much bigger then i would say it's worth it. as for my shit being unsubstantiated say what you will. most of my methods...

    Bug Help

why do you say they're fine? jumping white bugs are thrips, and they are disease spreading and are definitely a PEST. water with a mix of 1.5 tsp neem oil, 2 tsp castile soap and a gallon of water. also spray the plant down with the same ingredients in a quart of water instead of a gallon.

Help! Spider Mites in Final Weeks

is your sole purpose on this site trying to fuck with people? i think you're a troll, and i don't think you've ever grown a plant. or else you wouldn't be telling people to dip their plants in grape juice to get rid of mites after harvest. stop trying to destroy other peoples gardens. maybe try...

Sick Baby. Need Your Help Please

lol the plant is only 4-5" tall, and already suffering. if it takes a week to veg a plant to 5" healthy, and it takes a week to nurse this plant back to health, all you've sacrificed is a stressed plant for a healthy one. it's along the same lines of half your posts telling people to use...

Sick Baby. Need Your Help Please

check the ph of your runoff water. i'll bet it's high. that soil also looks kinda crappy, and honestly with a plant that young already having issues, i'd start over with good soil and nutes and good seeds.

Please Help Diagnose These Leaf Symptoms

it looks similar to aphid damage, but it could be a number of things. aphids cause the leaves to dry and curl like that, which also provides protection to them. i would look the plant over for signs of the infestation. also keep an eye out for ants, as they are kinda like shepards for aphids.
