This but do it with at LEAST 7 days left till you switch to 12/12 to avoid stress. You'll probably have to go in again after 3 weeks to get the new shoots the plant will put out lower but the stress chance at that point is much lower since you're cutting much less.

Will it work? Maybe.... I would NOT re-use them thats for sure. I would use all natural sponges as well. Rince them out WELL. Otherwise it could work...sure.

Generally find a window dressing that CAN be seen from outside (blinds, curtains, whatever) and then attach a solid piece of wood or drywall painted black behind it. That way from a distance it looks normal and from up close you can only see black through whatever the dressing is.

obviously if you have buds closer to the light you have differing leaf temps, not sure how you would even measure that (laser temp reading?) 86 is pretty high anyways. Light itself will NOT curl leaves, it WILL bleech them however.
