    Fav Concentrate Apparatus

Ive been checking out the titanium pin kits but for the life of me I just don't get it. If someone could post a pic of one setup and ready to go I would be very happy. On that aqualab site check out this one -> http://aqualabtechnologies.com/monster-pipes-vapor-globe-action-figure-set.html...

    Woodsmaneh! Cool Growing Info

Really good info up in here. The only beef I have with this is the Lime post. In an organic soil recycling program I cannot overstate how important I think the liming of the soil really is. Over the cource of two years on the same dirt Ive tested reduced amounts of lime following advice like...

Sticky hands no more - how to get clean

So this seems like it should be common knowledge but everytime I mention it people light up like its the first time they have ever heard it so I figure it's worth a post. Got sticky hands after a harvest (or just molesting you're buds)? Take a dab of olive oil (any oil should do) rub it into...

Vocabulary/Slang Terms (Updated With the Missing Terms)

Correct wording is bumper crop, not bumper harvest. 'A larger then expected yield'.

    Anybody use GROWTRONIX

If anyone is interested I did start a thread Growtronix Automation - You got problems, I probably have answers - https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/484637-growtronix-automation-you-got-problems.html At this point I am balls deep into the system, running most of the sensors it...

remote control ballast with built-in timer?!

I actually like where these are going. Price is key though, all that is worth MAYBE an extra $100 to be but no more. If it chains multiple ballasts into one remote then its a good design. I like the built in watt reader too. I see some serious potential with these guys if the price comes in...

Reserva Privada Sour Kush AKA Headband and Nirvana Seeds Northern Light

Normal google search should make the issues with the SK pretty obvious, its super common and at this point the strain is a well known poor apple. I have not run any other RP stuff and I've 'heard' great things about DNA but after that experience I wont touch either with a 10 ft pole. I HAVE to...

Spend my money, all blues or diamond series?

No plans on using these smaller led for anything other then veg. You'd have to tear my HPS's out of my cold dead hands ;-)

Spend my money, all blues or diamond series?

OK heres the shootout. Want to buy soon. Im pretty sold on the AdvancedLED stuff. For a 1ftx1ft area (two prop trays at 12inx5.5in each side by side) either 100w Diamond Series http://www.advancedledlights.com/3w-led-grow-lights/new-diamond-series-leds-extreme-3w-led-technology/ OR All blue...

**ULTIMATE LED TEST** *GLH Spectra 290* VS *Blackstar 500* VS *Hydro Grow LED 336X*

Checking out the 120w extreme veg too, its got a 10x10in physical size so I would have to assume it's got the coverage area but does the all blues really work??????

Looking At the Real cost of pot

Recycling soil (organically) is the best approch to soil medium growing. Look through the organic section up here for the full low down. I have not bought dirt in over a year and a half. Its part of why my costs are low and my quality is high....

**ULTIMATE LED TEST** *GLH Spectra 290* VS *Blackstar 500* VS *Hydro Grow LED 336X*

"I think it needs to be like 24inches above canopy to have good result" do you mean for footprint? In my application it would be exactly 14' from the quart container tops. Id be putting them over two normal 12'x5.5' propagating trays side by side. Im like sitting on the checkout button as I...

**ULTIMATE LED TEST** *GLH Spectra 290* VS *Blackstar 500* VS *Hydro Grow LED 336X*

Anyone have some experience with the AdvancedLED Diamonds? Im wondering if the following would be enough 1 100w - cover a 1x1 space for clones and small veg plants 2 x 200w - cover a 3x3 veg table with between 8 and 14 plants (would a 300w or even 3x 100w be better?) - replacing a 600w MH...

Looking At the Real cost of pot

Well I just did a non-scientifc breakdown of what my costs are. I live in a cheap electric state (.06 kwh) I grow mostly organic, all amedments bought in bulk except guanos (usualy 50lbs at a time). Some but not much stuff in bottles (clonex/Humbolt Honey Extra/Great White) Does NOT included...

    First Post. Basement Grow question

What you REALLY need to do before you even get started 1) stick a de-humidifier in the basement and just let it run, get the air dry before..... 2) Seal the basement, fill in the cracks and put a coat of basement sealer on the walls and floor - really if anyones basement is damp you should do...

Vegging with T5 lights - need pics

I use 3 X 4ft 4 bulb T5's in my mother and clone/pre-veg tent and a 6oow MH in the main veg area. The only thing the MH has over the T5s is a bigger footprint and being able to hang higher over the tops, otherwise I would NOT say the MH does better the the T5's. The plants love them both.
