Got a new grow rolling. This little sprout is about 2-3 days old. The stem is really stretching but today is the first time ive put it under the lights. what should my lighting schedule be right now for veg. 18/6? or 12/12? also i have the pot as close to the lights as i can get. does...

well just went and set up all the cfls. found out i had a 65w 5500k huge cfl bulb so i replaced one with it. so right now im running (3) 23 watt 2700k cfls (4) 23 watt 5000k cfl (1) 65 watt 55000k cfl so roughly 226 total watts. maybe that will give me a good yield. my grow isnt exactly...

well after this first grow i may step up to a hid or led to get some more yield. wanna make sure it works before i pour much more into it lol.

well after seeing lots of small successful cfl grows here i ended up going to lowes and getting 8 23 watt cfls. i got 4 6500k and 4 2700 k and im gonna run them all.

oh yea. ive looked around. i just hate having so many cfl bulbs. im trying to keep the bulb count low and still produce a good plant

maybe ill swing by home depot tomorrow and see if they have any big cfls first

how much difference will i see between the 105 watt cfl and the hps? i can build the cfl setup for the price of the bulb but the hps setup will run about 90 shipped

the plant will sit in a 6x2 closet but it will be in the corner with the light hung above it. so the plant area is about 2x2 - 3x2 roughly

yea i know its a hood. i was showing it as example of what i would pair with the cfl i linked from 1000bulbs. so the hps setup would be better? could i use it from veg to flower? any idea if i would have a heat battle with it being in a small closet? if i went cfl would only having that one...

Well i do already have 2 26 watt cfl think they are 6500 spectrum cause they are more blue than a halogen bulb. So would i be better off just getting 4 or 5 smaller cfls with a lower spectrum for growing then add my 2 26 for veg? Why fabric pots btw?

back in the 90s they were worth lots, but since then they have slowly diminished in value. The only cards worth very much now are probably 1 of 1 left in the world. I quit buying them many years ago just because they had all lost their value. Best way to see if one is worth anything go on ebay...
