What do you think of Kellogg's outdoor patio plus

This is Fruit Punch buds grown in Patio Plus with some supplemental fertilization when needed. Mostly Kelloggs All Purpose and Espoma Bulb Tone. It worked well for me adding as needed. Whole plant was full of large buds. I posted this just to show it can be done with the soil.

What do you think of Kellogg's outdoor patio plus

I'm just curious. Why not just adjust fertilization etc when it starts to flower to avoid any problems?

What do you think of Kellogg's outdoor patio plus

It seems to work just as well in flowering as anything else but I bumped it with some Espoma Bulb-tone. Here's some pictures that I took at night a week ago. I'll have to zoom in soon.

    Kellogs patio plus soil

I uploaded what patio plus looks now like. I remember it having thicker bark in the past. Also here's a Bruce Banner #3 grown in it. It looks larger in person. It's over 6 feet tall and at least as wide.

    Kellogs patio plus soil

All I can say is that I'm getting great results with it but I added some fertilizer to start it off. The stuff I got this year seems to be a lot finer ground then previous years though.

    Kellogs patio plus soil

This year I put some epsoma plant tone in previously used soil after i fluffed it up. Put six inches of new patio plus on top of that and finally added Kelloggs All Purpuse fertilizer and a bit of extra perlite in. I'm getting great results. Garden tone may have worked great also. For flowering...

Just an update. I gave the plant to a friend and it made it. It actually looks pretty good. Maybe I should have kept it.

I'm in the san francisco bay area. I'm use to getting and putting clones out around may 20th. I started another seed yesterday. I hope that it pulls through.

Did I loose too much time to start a new seed growing outdoors to get a good return?

    seedling curved leaves

It's outdoor. No idea about the ph. That sucks about the soil. So it's most likely a loss?

    seedling curved leaves

Hi, does anyone have any suggestions on how I might rescue this plant? It looked great then the leaves curved in almost overnight. It's been this way a couple of weeks and growth slowed to a crawl. I keep on hoping that it starts to correct itself. It's in happyfrog soil with a bit of added...

    Kellogs patio plus soil

I just bought a bag of Happy Frog a few weeks ago to start some seedlings and it's appearance seemed close to that of Patio Plus woodchip wise/perlite content. I'm not saying that it's the same stuff. Just that it looked very similar to me. MonkeyGrinder, I may try adding the same amendments...

    Kellogs patio plus soil

I've used both fox farm and patio plus outdoors and patio plus did well. I had no odd issues. I did add some perlite though.

    Opinions on bulk soil needed.

just a follow up. The soil is 7.1 ph and delivery is 85 bucks. Being a beginner I don't know if the ph would pose a problem for a outdoor grow or not.

    Opinions on bulk soil needed.

Hi, I need a few cubic yards of grow medium and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on how the below would do and if you'd add anything to it. I can get it locally, delivery shouldn't be that bad and would be much cheaper than buying a pallet of foxfarm ocean forest or even kelloggs...

    Soil Reuse advice needed

Interesting. I figured that I had to add everything to the soil ahead of time, mix it in, dampen, mix again and wait a three or so weeks.
