I have central heating and air. I was planning on just using passive intake, and exhausting with a 6" inline fan.

I know you're supposed to have your exhaust fan going into another room or outside, but that isn't really an option for me. my tent will be in my basement, which is about 15x30. Could I get away with venting the exhaust from a 4x4 tent into this room?
