    Planter Gardening...

I have grown 5 plants in a single container before. The biggest problem I ran into was that the root masses will grow together and it will be almost impossible to separate them in the future. Also, you will need to be more careful about overwatering. This is not the most healthy environment for...

Mixing Cfl Color Spectrums for Vegg and Bloom?

For 4 plants in flowering I would recommend more at least 400w of HPS. I use 600w of HPS and 210w of 2700k CLF for flowering in a 2'x5' grow box with very positive results.

    When to Harvest Question

Thanks to everyone for your great replies. BTT, it has been 8 weeks and 3 days since I switched to 12/12. Also, they were under some heavy duty stress shortly after switching to 12/12 as I over watered them. In fact, I lost 2 of her sisters. An additional question(s): The Trichomes appear to...

    When to Harvest Question

Video, thanks and this is helpful. A couple of questions if you please. 1) Do the state (color) of the have any bearing on the state of the trichomes? In other words, should one begin to take a closer look at the trichomes when the stigma reach a certain color? 2) At which trichome state...

    When to Harvest Question

Fellow growers, Yes I have been away for a couple of weeks. Between work and and getting very ill, there has been too little time to post. I'm back now though. To my question, I have one plant which I saved from a over water fiasco which should be coming close to harvest. I clip a leaf from...

    Closet grow...Please help...Venilation...

VideoMan, Summer time is coming and I am sure we are going to have a flood of heat threads. I am starting to run into heat issues also. I am at +35c in the afternoons. I know my problem. Not enough intake holes. I will adjust this weekend. At this point, the plant which is flowering is...

    Double Strength Nutes

BTT, great update. I have switched to Fox Farms and Jacks and can tell a difference. Roached them all with MG a few weeks back. Will never use it again for anything of value. I have also switched to Fox Farms for soil. I was thinking about 30% Perlite. You suggest 50%. I am very concerned...

    CFL Grow

4' is pretty tight, IMHO. In that space I would stick with CFL. The heat from HPS is significant, and you need more distance from the HPS regardless of temp. They produce a lot of radiant heat. I use both CFL and HPS. My space is a little larger though (6' high). I have decided to hold off on...

    Co2 injection advise needed

...one other point. I do not have "tubing is specially made for drip irrigation" I have regular line which I have put holes in every 8-10". I suspect this will be fine. Thoughts?

    Co2 injection advise needed

So, I have everything setup, but I am sure it is not even close to write. ;) I don't suspect I will lose anything more than a $7 worth of gas in the process. I have a regulator, solenoid, and a needle valve for flow control. I have no idea how much CO2 I am releasing into the environment. I...

CFL Man falls into HPS Nirvana!!

They look great, but I have never used them. Just adds to the idea that the future of growing is CFL. -ngtybear

    *400watt HPS Question* (pics)

I am a big fan of CFLs, but I have never flowered all the way through with them. Stealth is very important to me also (as I am painfully paranoid). SOme her will say if you want results you must flower with CFL. IMHO, the math for that statement does not add up. One thing to keep in mind...

    Update On The Girls :)

Yeap, that was me. ;) 3 150w HPS and 2 70w HPS. $10 per light. :D You need 6500k for veg and 2700k for flowering. I agree with green, if you have the room get yourself an HPS set for flowering.

    Help save the plant!

It is my opinion you are giving it too much water and to little light. You need to let it dry out completely before watering again. "2" is still pretty wet. Let them dry out and they should recover.

    Update On The Girls :)

Mr Green... They look a little stretched to me, but let us let other chime in here. I would suggest a little more light for veg, and a whole lot more light for flowering. In addition, I do believe you know you need a different color (CCT) light for flowering than vegging. -ngtybear
