    Pruning in Flowering

You will. :( But if you do a proper job it should not spread. Another good idea is to remove severely infested leaves, good luck. :)

    Pruning in Flowering

Just a caution after rereading your post, your PM is not cured. PM is very persistent even after treatment ( i currently use a product called Oxidate which is HO2 a hyper-peroxide for agricultural application) and you will need to treat it regularly to keep it from spreading. I have heard that a...

    Pruning in Flowering

Asking questions like that will elicit a bunch of responses so here is mine. :) It will depend on humidity lower is better and air flow where more is better. Vigorous air flow strengthens plants stalks and makes it difficult for spores to take hold. Remember that (check local conditions :) )...

    Pruning in Flowering

A little pruning to produce good air flow to the base of your plants will go a long way towards reducing the possibility of Powdery Mildew or Botrytis. And of course good air flow. :weed:

    Testing the old "Defoliation" Argument

Chuck, Chuck, Chuck we have talked about this many times. Stop with the science and silly details like citations as it makes the defoliators heads hurt and that is abusive. And again RIU this "technique" and others like it need their (or there or they're for some of you) own forum called...

    seedling gone rogue!

If it is truly a rogue, call it a Palin and kill it.

    About flowering time.

That would depend on your latitude, mine is 45 and most of my plants will start the stretch/preflower in early to mid August at roughly 14/10 light/night.

Do tell.......could you please help me to identify the "most important 80% of people"? Sounds like the dreaded "death panels" to me.

7 wks flower white pistils everywhere

Looks too dense to me, you should chop them down and start over. Next time defoliate the noobs tell me it increases your yield. JK Looking good :weed:

    Testing the old "Defoliation" Argument

Have I mentioned before just how much I appreciate and enjoy the defoliation pics? They make the aggravation of these threads well worth the time.

    Topping/Sexing Help Needed Uncle Ben!!

I will be giving this up at the same time I quit eating pussy, and breathing. Approximately 1/3 of what I grow is made into RSO and given to cancer patients. I am a selfish man and why would I quit doing something(s) that makes me feel so good. Besides it is really hard to enjoy naked...

    Topping/Sexing Help Needed Uncle Ben!!

Here are some of her sisters :) The two in the foreground are White Rhino (L) and Trainwreck (R), as an experiment neither has been topped and they are just over 7' now. It will be interesting to see what happens. Everything will be in 100s and 150s and barring a late season catastrophe I...

    Topping/Sexing Help Needed Uncle Ben!!

Those would be 150s, I used the subcool mix and let it cook for about 3 months, and I have just started to brew some teas so they have had nothing but Roots and the "supersoil". On a side note it took a 32 gallon trash can of supersoil and 12 bags of Roots to fill the bag but a much better...

    Bubble Cloner Issues

Clones generally take from 7 - 20 days depending on the strain and your reservoir temps. I have rooted thousands of clones using only tap water and never worry about Ph, just clean your equipment with bleach between uses.

    Testing the old "Defoliation" Argument

If increasing gas exchange is your goal then removing the leaves is counterproductive as you can see in the illustration below. Gas is ONLY exchanged through Stoma which are located on the underside of the leaf. Another important function that is often overlooked is that of the guard cells...

    Testing the old "Defoliation" Argument

Unless your plants are all identical clones then what you are doing is interesting but not scientifically valid. You should have a control group(s) and a subject group(s) and they should be assigned randomly and done in sets of 3 under identical conditions. Oh yeah and defoliation is bad...
