Good looking out! I'm going to snoop around Lowes this weekend to see if they have that sheeting. This would be a great option for my Ebb&Flo table. I was worried about using the panda plastic only because I didnt know if I could rig something up to make sure the sheet didnt droop into the tray.

Looking like a great start! raggaerican is right though, the clear plastic is not going to stop the algae since light is still getting to the block. You need something that is not see through. Preferably white to reflect light back upwards.

Hah! Thanks man. I wasnt hip to panda plastic so I am checking it out. I think I'd rather go that route and just place white plastic cube caps over the tops. That should keep light out of the tray and light from the top of the blocks to prevent algae.

There are many that just leave the cubes in the tray. It really just might come down to accessibility for me. I will more than likely just place the blocks in the tray with no hydroton. This will allow for me to move plants a little easier if needed. After a harvest I won't have to rush to...

So once you transfer the cracked seed from the towel into the cube, keep it in the dark until it sprouts...then put light on it? I will be using 1.5 inch cubes for starters until they seedlings are large enough to place into 4" rockwool cubes.

I was actually looking to use this for my first grow and found this post. I see that it is SUPER expensive but from what I have been reading it is a great product. I planned on using this with GH's Floralicious Plus and Botanicare Sweet.

Yikes! Since this is going to be my first grow...not sure I am ready to shell out soo much money on a reflector yet. Once I get a few harvests under my belt and dialed in I will ramp up the equipment.

Guess I left the most important part out. Yeah I am working with a budget... Preferably $140 max on the reflector and $100 max on the bulb. Unless the bulb and reflector are ungodly in results then maybe I will shell out a bit more.
