How about spray painting a different pot and moving the plant into that one after it dries? If you have to keep the same pot I suggest hand painting the pot to avoid the spray of paint and chemicals? Additionally, if i grow outside i use a mosquito net over the plants to keep bugs away and to...

it is locked but there is a little light that shines out when the room outside of my grow room is dark. Just playing it safe. its only a faint outline but i dont want them to wonder whats in there.

Even darkness wont hurt once in a while. When i have someone I dont trust/know visit I sometimes turn my lights all the way off just so there is no chance of them wandering in on my grow. This has had no negative affects on my plants that I can tell.

Thanks! I love the way they are turning out. The sativa normally goes just over 70 days and the kush goes 7-8 weeks. So that means that the kush will be chopped at the end of July and the sativa will be chopped around the 15th of August.

Flowering under CFLs is certainly possible and you can have some nice buds if you use enough watts. Your yield will be less than you would get with your HID. If you want a cool running light that does a good job get a T5.
