    chrysanthemum flowers

A couple of my plants have thrips. What would happen if I threw some chrysanthemum flowers on top of the soil? Would they eat them and die? Or should I just get some spray that has Pyrethroids? thx

To deseed or not to deseed, that is the question

Thanks, ttt! I hadn't seen an acrylic grinder, but those look great. SB Garlic - I would never buy from a Mexican drug cartel. LOL. I have a legitimate, legal patient in my collective and I've been to his house several times and I've seen his plants. He's a family man and not a drug lord. His...

What If Powdery Mildew Is On Your Trim?

LOL. I guess I shouldn't expect highly scientific answers, but I was hoping to get some detailed information on powdery mildew - e.g. what it is exactly, how and if it can survive different conditions (e.g. how can I kill it?), if dead powdery mildew is harmful, what it does when ingested, etc...

What If Powdery Mildew Is On Your Trim?

I'm growing cannabis outdoors at the beach and we have a lot of humidity. Before I found a product that would cure and prevent it, some started growing on my plants. Now, I have a mixture of mostly dead powdery mildew and trichomes on the trim leaves. I'm having someone wipe all the dead...

ttt- great point... and i have done just exactly that. informed patients in advance and lowered the donation price. i have 1,000+ "Jorge Bonita" seeds. they're a strong sativa and i've grown a male from seed and i'm crossing it with Headband... i has plant semen all over it. the grinder idea...

To deseed or not to deseed, that is the question

ttt- sounds like a good idea, but I'm unfamiliar with a plastic grinder. I use a food processor grinder. Can you show me what you're talking about?

To deseed or not to deseed, that is the question

This pot is very seedy. It was clearly grown outdoors and accidentally pollinated. I've already collected and saved about 1,000 seeds. I'm thinking about getting more from this patient, but I can't spend a million hours deseeding it. It's Mexi and could only really be used to roll joints anyhow...

To deseed or not to deseed, that is the question

From time to time, a patient brings us some weed with seeds in it. We obviously have several options regarding deseeding or not deseeding, so what would you do?

    Is this classic bud rot?

If only some of the buds on one plant have bud rot, would it be best to cut it off or leave it? Should the entire plant be harvested early? Right now, I'm concluding either accidentally spraying the buds or air humidity is the culprit. I wish I knew which one because one is controllable and the...

Leaves Curling Up... Any idea why?

I'm going to lower the pH in the next 2 feedings and see if it helps. Might be too high pH. It was around 6.5. Heat stress/Over-Underwatering? - not too much heat, but I haven't been overflowing the watering (at least not much)... think that could do it? Feeding schedual, nutes N-P-K. Pot size...

    Is this classic bud rot?

Ok. Thanks. Do you happen to know any tricks or things that would help them avoid bud rot? Some of these plants are a probably 1-2 ft. away from a wall. Is that too close and will that increase humidity? Some of the plants are under a balcony, getting partial sunlight. Any idea how that...

    Is this classic bud rot?

One of my outdoors growers in Carlsbad has some plants with this stuff on them. Is this bud rot? Any idea how this can be cured or prevented? Since it has been continually cloudy and humid in C'bad, I'm thinking its the culprit.

Leaves Curling Up... Any idea why?

A few of my indoor plants are showing signs of this curling. Most of them are in coco, but a few are in soil. Does anyone know what this indicates? The temp and humidity are at correct levels. They are in the veg stage.

    AK's Cannabis Cookbook

Thanks for the reminder. Does it also need to be above 250 (but below 275) inside and out for 15-20 minutes?

Recipe please..? Olive oil and gel caps

This is an interesting thread. Why coconut oil instead of olive oil? Hmmm. I believe any fat can absorb THC and the cannabinoids. I've made gel caps, but I did it with the 99% alcohol extraction method. I used the double boiler method, then added some olive oil to the extracted material before...

    Canana Muffins

Your edibles look really yummy! And 10 hours is pretty epic! Do you have any tips for cooking with cannabutter? I've been harvesting a lot of plants lately and I have a lot of it. Here's a question. I'm growing plants by the beach and it gets really humid, so we get powdery (aka downy) mildew...

My cat drinks my nutrient water... is that ok?

It's city water with added calcium, magnesium and flowering nutrients (Terra Flores). She generally doesn't drink it until it has been sitting out for 12 hours. So far, I see no ill effects.
