Do I Top before or after LST'ing?

Wait 'til you have a couple more nodes and cut back to the 1st node. Wait till they (two main stems) get to 18". Re-pot in your final pot, but put the plant on a 45* angle when you do this. This will help when you start to wrap the stems around the top of the bucket. Wrap them in the opposite...

    Can-fan is working too good!!

Is it possible to use the heat from the light to help bring the temps up? In other words, either open the bottom of the light and flood the room with heat and let the FanCan regulate the heat or perhaps use the "speed controller" on the fan on your light, so that it leaves more heat behind?

should I foilage feed during flowering? +rep

I'm not sure how feeding no "N" to your plants would promote growth, but what ever floats your boat. As far as foliar feeding in flower go's. As long as your humidity is relatively low, it should be OK. Just keep an eye out for molds.

    New Members...

In the spirit of Christmas, I'm going to try to answer this question, but I have to say this first. This thread is not for "New Members" to ask their plant problem questions. It is a thread about "New Members" not asking simple questions that they otherwise could answer themselves, if they took...

    Compost tea?

Just clarify something. Compost tea does not smell bad. If it does, your not aerating it enough or your using manure instead of compost. Here's the guy (Bruce Duely) who started the compost tea in a bucket deal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rxo2ma5hC8U I use his method and it works GREAT...

    Organic DWC questions

I've use compost tea from start to finish, full strength without any adverse affect. I alternate H2O every other week. I don't believe you can overdose with compost tea unless you are supplementing with large amounts of soil amendments. You should use all your tea within 24 hrs as the lack of...

beautiful plants in flowering having some issues

I used to worry about the PH of the water, but I don't any more. As stated above. My run off is in the high 8"s. Now you would think that this would have an adverse affect on my plants, but it doesn't. I'm pretty much 100% organic and only water with H2O and compost tea. Now, I'm no expert, but...

    Amazing Difference

As a new grower and taking advise from someone who should have known and didn't, I blindly followed him down a road to ruin. Luckily, I do watch, observe and learn as I go and decided to follow my own path. Below are 2 pictures of my seedlings. One is a seedling I grew for a month in a cup of...

It looks like you're running out of Nitrogen. I'd be opening up those drain holes also. If the roots stick through, they will generally die off. Here's a thread that might help. https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/267989-uncle-bens-gardening-tweeks-pointers.html

Nutrients... When to stop using them??

Or you could read this first and make a more informed decision. " Summary: Pre-harvest flushing puts the plant(s) under serious stress. The plant has to deal with nutrient deficiencies in a very important part of its cycle. Strong changes in the amount of dissolved substances in the...
