Preflower will happen when you switch to 12/12. Plants will show sex, make their last stretch, double or triple in size and start making bud sites then your 8-12 weeks from there till finish. Good luck!

Mosquito Dunk or bits is what I use, that usually kills Off my gnats and their larvae if the soil I buy ends up having them in it. And use the sticky tape stuff to get the ones flying around.
