Are you giving it any Nitrogen during flower. I understand that many folks do not see the need for nitrogen during flowering but if your plants shows the need give it to it.

Nutes will not change the smell but curing sure will. Make sure you flush well before chopping and cure your weed for the best possible taste and smell.

Drainage is very important so as mentioned before get some drainage holes in those buckets. Warisnottheanswer is spot on. If you have 5 gal buckets flush with approx 15 gal of water. I make sure my water is properly PHed to avoid nute lock out and salt build up.

I would suggest a heating pad under the clones your trying to root. I find it speeds up the process and it will certainly help with the low temperatures.
