Only got one shot in before the camera died, but here's my two AK-48's about 3-4 weeks into 12/12. I had three, but took down the smallest one and spread the two remaining ones out as much as possible.

Use ANY soil you want. If it's already got plant food in the soil, just be careful when and how much you put on it. There's nothing wrong with "cheap" soil as long as there's no bugs or fungus in it. Get some Cal-Mag and use it. 5ml per gallon EVERY watering. Even if you use tap, use Cal-Mag...

These plants were vegged about 45 days and have been topped a couple times, supercropped on a few branches, and obviously lots of LST. These are at week 3 of 12/12. Vegged and flowered under T5's. Last grow at 6 weeks 12/12

T5's kick ass. They work great for me. Both veg and flower. I use two 220W 4 bulb duo-tube (biax/2G11) fixtures.

Took them out tonight for a watering and WOW, the undergrowth is INSANE. Lights are out now, but I'll post some pics in the next day or two. All I can say is that from now on, it's gonna be two big ass plants trained to the max.

Yeah, but I have to take the plants in and out of the closet to water them. A screen would make that impossible. Plus, I think strings give me better control over the branches.

Just get some Cal-Mag it's cheap. Not as cheap as epsom salt, but worth the few bucks. Sell a gram or two to your buddy after harvest and you'll have your money back.

Nice to see this thread getting some replies again. Here's my three AK-48 plants couple weeks into 12/12. My best grow yet. Up until now I only vegged for 30 - 35 days. Let these go about 45. HUGE difference. Clearly, big plants are the way to go. From now on, I'll probably just do two plants...
