Diy air cooler easy free fast

Thanks for this information. Great science project for when I get a little free time. I occasionally need to lower temperature and don't want to spend 45 cents per kWh on AC. I might add a minute of drip irrigation to the rag a few times a day. Cheers

Aloha Snaps, Thanks for guiding my next steps. I am getting prepared to start this program as soon as my current soil grow is finished. I particularly appreciate your inclusion of the information about larger nutrient volume and durations between changeouts. That gets right to the heart of...

Soil vs DWC - Your Thoughts

Wow.... Thanks already Snaps. I am really interested in keeping things straight forward and as simple as possible. I am willing and able to be very particular if not fussy in running a system. The hardest part so far is choosing the system best for my tiny operation without having any...

    DYI Water Cooler?

Aloha all, I am spinning this off from an earlier thread with some some great ideas and replies I received here while asking about replacing my soil system with DWC. Now, I want to ask for help keeping the electric company out of my pocket. As the title suggests I am asking for opinions on...

    Anyone Here Use Probiotics?

Well, It's a good question. I know they replace "friendly bacteria" similar to buttermilk yogurt but better. So, I wouldn't think there would be harm except to the pocket book. I would just keep it in mind as a backup plan if your stomach gets out of balance.

Thanks Chemist, I've notice that there are many alternatives. Thanks for you input. I really like the reservoir concept - doing all of the work and making the changes there. Thanks for suggesting to locate it outside. I realized that I have a perfect spot for it. It is just outside near the...

Soil vs DWC - Your Thoughts

Mahalo legallyflying, I haven't yet tried DWC or RDWC but have been reading a lot about it and watching videos. I'm really impressed with the results I see from those who are good at it. The part that concerns me is the cost of running the pumps. Also chilling the water which I understand is...
