I could see it for mothers like you do but idk i feel that 18/6 is perfect. optimium light but theres a brief dark period, plus 16/8 is rlly close to 14/10 and a power outage would potientially fuck up my plant, especially if it lasted several hours.

18/6 is as effective if not better than 24/0 ($, dark period, better for the lights)
