Hello all. The plants are doing well i assume. I have not watered them in about 5 days. Im so tempted to water them.....the soil looks so dry and crusty on the top but if i stick my finger down almost to the bottom then it does feel somewhat moist. Ive heard it not good to let them fully dry...

So any Metal halide or HPS needs a ballast no matter what the wattage is?

I went to Lowe's a little while ago and they have 70 and 100 watt HPS and metal halide light bulbs for like 15 bucks. Some of the packageing on the higher wattage ones says you must use a ballast but the 70 watt Metal Halide didnt have that warning on it. Can i screw a 70 watt metal halide...

they are both in 8 quart pots. They are only growing in a space about 27 inches tall and 3 feet wide. My first ones so im growing them small just fro practice. They are about 3 1/2 inches tall now. I heard they triple in size in flowering. Should i go ahead and flower or it is too early? Only...

No i dont think its the heat. Its been a pretty steady 85 in there. What about humidty? i dont have tool to measure the humidity. Is it supposed to be warm, moist, cool.....humid?

Temp is at 85. Just a few of the leaves are kinda curling up along the edges. Not much but they are....started happening after i swicthed them to diff pots.

Thanks Now the sides of the leaves are curling up and they are drooping, are both of these signs of overwatering?? Im using MG Organic. Too much peat bad???

Im at day 17, there is new growth under those huge leaves all over the place. The only problem is the big leaves are covering them and shading them. Should i trim these so the new growth can see the light better?

Okay, so i repotted them and only kept 2. The roots were tangled BAAAD. I tried my best to not touch roots or break any but i could def feel and hear the lil ones breaking. I did this yesterday at 5. They seem a lil droopy and the leaves are curling slightly. After i re-potted them i watered...
