I would make me an ebb and flow system if you have the space for it. I like to have a tray for the plants where each plant have each their own pot. This makes it very easy to put in new clones in and move it all a bit around.

Yeah - don't worry about the purple color. Don't take this to be a "Purple" strain though - many plants will turn purple if it get's cold. It doesn't affect the smoke or anything - only thing is that it is a sign that fall is near and plant soon needs to get done with that budding ;O)

I grow Jack Herer as well and love it. Do you have some photos of the Jack Flash? - would love to see it compared to the Jack Herer. I do think the original is supposed to be more potent but never had the chance to compare so wouldn't know for sure - it's just way cheaper.

Did you plant them outdoor ? - are they cold?

Don't know if it has been suggested, but you can adjust the colors pretty easily in photoshop. One of those yellow photos can be made quite normal in colors.
