my roots gained a slightly less bleached white tinge after the transfer as well as soon as they realized they were in heaven again, they started shooting out bleached whites and the main root structure is looking a bit more bounteous altogether. they look swell

hydrofarm makes a light meter. ($50) If you failed to write down when you bought your last hps bulb, you can test it with one of these. If it no longer puts off what it should it is time to replace. meter also help determine how even your light is being distributed.
